I write a weekly column called “The Good Life,” for Mint.
It’s the first time I have done a column and it has been a humbling experience.
I’ve learnt a lot. Some pieces I like more than others. Some are extremely hard to write and I do a thousand rewrites while others come out just like that.
They are available at the paper’s website. I am not sure how to upload them all to this site, so for now, please click here to view my columns.
Hi,
I have been meaning to write to you ever since i read your lovely articles in the Mint. -but dont worry- i will keep this brief and unembarrassing.- . its one of my rituals to read the sat mint and start it with your article -thank god there are e-versions of the same. Even a luddite like me would have missed reading it, when i shifted continents
Do keep doodling;).

Thanks, Vidya, for your nice words.
Where did you move to??
Hey Shobha..missed reading your article today…the first thing I look forward to on Sat mornings :) U write beautifully..a rare gift. There have been so many moments when I ve felt, “yes this is it..this is exactly how I feel !” That connect..connects:)
Sheetal:
Mine was the cover story in today’s Mint. Several people said the same thing– that they didn’t see my column. Strange that they missed my name in the cover story!! Thanks.
